Our Founders
Susan Krukowski
Co-Owner
I brought Pixie Village Preschool to life in 1993 as Co-Owner. Providing a high level of learning Pixie Village became one of the original schools to become part of the Williamsville School District Universal Pre-K program. This is an accomplishment we are very proud of. I earned my Masters in Education from Buffalo State College and worked as an Elementary School teacher before opening Pixie Village. For the past 30 years I have been teaching the 4 years old classes and getting them ready for Kindergarten. Moving forward my role will be as the Educational Director for Pixie Village Preschool. During my free time I enjoy gardening, reading a good book on my deck, traveling to new places and making new memories with my family!

Co-Owner
In 1994 I enrolled my son into the 3's class. I volunteered numerous times and in 1995 became a Co-Owner. Having an Early Childhood Education degree has allowed me to happily teach the 3's class, be an aide in the 4's & UPK classes and be involved in the day-to-day operations of Pixie Village Preschool. I am Very Proud of everything we have accomplished through the years. In my free time, I enjoy my family and 2 amazing grandsons, gardening and making memories!
Our Philosophy
We feel it is very important to integrate a child's home experience with his/her learning experience at school and we encourage parent involvement in Pixie Village activities. We hope you will do much more than just drop off and pick up your child each day. Ask what his/her favorite part of school was that day, visit a class in action and help with show and tell. You could also read a story to the class or help with a special craft project. There are many ways for you to be involved and show your child that you are excited about preschool too!
